Job Description
- Provide dedicated legal and administrative support to the Partner and wider team.
- Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, and general practice coordination.
- Prepare, format, amend, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with court documentation, filing requirements, and litigation processes.
- Maintain files and ensure accurate matter management across all cases.
- Liaise with clients, barristers, medical experts, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate key documents, briefs, and records for ongoing matters.
- Support billing and general administrative functions as required.
- Assist across a range of insurance litigation and toxic tort matters.
- Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.
The Successful Applicant
- 2-3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant.
- Strong interest in litigation and personal injury-related matters.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and matter management skills.
- Confidence managing sensitive and often complex client matters.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
- Comfortable working in a growing and evolving practice area.
- Available to work full-time in the office.
Highly regarded:
- Experience in insurance litigation.
- Exposure to toxic torts, dust disease, asbestos, silicosis, or workplace injury matters.
- Experience working on either the plaintiff or defendant side.
- Understanding of litigation processes, court documents, and legal procedures.
