Mid – Level Business Analyst – Financial Services

About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join an established financial services organisation and support a growing pipeline of business and technology change.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology functions, you’ll help define requirements, improve processes and support solutions through the full delivery lifecycle.
This would suit a mid-level BA looking to broaden their exposure across regulatory, operational and technology-led transformation.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and supporting documentation
- Facilitate requirements workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Support regulatory, compliance, onboarding and transformation initiatives
- Analyse current-state processes and help define future-state solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Work closely with project teams through design, testing, UAT and implementation
- Manage requirements and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
About You We’re interested in speaking with professionals who have:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services
- Strong requirements gathering and process mapping experience
- Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed business documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience supporting projects through testing, UAT and implementation
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work across multiple projects and competing priorities
Highly Regarded
- Wealth Management, Private Banking or Investment Management experience
- Exposure to financial products, investment platforms or advisory environments
- Regulatory and compliance transformation
- Digital onboarding or client lifecycle projects
- Data, reporting or insights-related initiatives
- Process improvement or operational transformation
- Experience with Avaloq or similar wealth management platforms
