Medical Receptionist
- First point of contact for patients, managing check-in procedures.
- Handle inquiries via phone and email, providing information on preparation for scans.
- Collaborate with staff and manage billing procedures for various services.
The role is a full time working Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm, and a rotational Saturday shift from 8:45am to 12pm.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
