    Our client is dedicated to helping individuals enhance their communicative abilities through a variety of specialised services. Our clinicians may choose to grow their caseload in areas such as developmental language disorder, literacy and trauma-informed, responsive and client-led services, AAC and disability, Apraxia, Stuttering, Feeding and Mealtime Management.

    We have a large referral base across Brisbane and provide in-person and remote care.

    Role Description: This is a part-time role for a Mid to Senior level Speech Language Pathologist. This role will suit a self-starter who wants to have autonomy and flexibility, yet have a team of like-minded people around them. Our Speech Pathologists love to work in their own areas of interest and have access to a streamlined administration and billing team that eliminates the admin burden so they can focus on their clinical work.

    The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing holistic, evidence-based care to our clients who are experiencing many barriers to their communication confidence. This may include parent education and support, community engagement, school-based supports and advocacy as well as individual treatment. We consider all factors to ensure the goals of each client align with their values and their communication, feeding and swallowing needs.

    Qualifications

    If you have any of the following you may benefit from our opportunities:

    • Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders skills and experience
    • Awareness, understanding of or lived experience of communication disorders/differences
    • A developed ability to prioritise and plan
    • Strong skills in client communication, particularly around providing clear guidance and support that is individualised and responsive (and useful!)
    • Understanding and/or experience of neurodiversity-affirming (or human affirming) practice
    • Real and working knowledge of client-led assessment and intervention
    • New garduates are welcome
