Managing significant assets across ETFs, managed accounts, superannuation and a retail wealth platform, the business continues to experience strong growth within a highly regulated environment.
About the Role
An opportunity for a senior lawyer with 8–10+ years’ PQE, strong funds experience and a commercial mindset to join the Legal, Risk and Compliance team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will advise across funds, investment products, regulatory matters and key strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the development, launch and governance of funds and investment products.
- Draft and review fund and disclosure documentation, including PDSs, TMDs and constitutions.
- Advise on financial services regulation, the Corporations Act and ASX requirements.
- Support regulatory engagement and review investor-facing and marketing materials.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with service providers, counterparties and other partners.
- Provide practical legal advice across the business and support strategic growth initiatives.
About You
- 8–10+ years’ PQE in funds management or financial services.
- Current Australian practising certificate.
- Strong knowledge of Chapters 5C and 7 of the Corporations Act.
- Experience with fund documentation and ASIC/ASX requirements.
- ASX Operating Rules and AQUA experience highly regarded.
- Commercial approach with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Confident stakeholder manager with clear, pragmatic communication skills.
