An opportunity exists for a commercially minded finance professional to join a large, complex organisation delivering critical services to the community. Reporting to a senior finance leader, this role partners closely with operational and executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, financial sustainability, and organisational performance. This position is a 12 month contract starting ASAP.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality financial analysis, planning, reporting, and advisory services while acting as a trusted business partner across diverse service areas.
 
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with operational and leadership teams to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis activities.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Deliver insightful reporting, identify key drivers of performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support financial governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting.

  Skills & Experience Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or CA qualification (or significant progress towards completion).
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Management Accounting role within a Healthcare environment
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting experience.
  • Advanced financial modelling and scenario planning capability.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner with non-finance leaders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
