About Our Client
Glencore Clermont is a well-established open cut coal mining operation with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and production excellence. We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Operators to join the production team in a long-term opportunity.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating haul trucks within a production mining environment
- Conducting pre-start inspections and completing required documentation
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets
- Following site policies, procedures and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and production crews
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care
What You Will Need
- Previous open cut mining experience
- Mandatory competency operating Komatsu 830E and/or Komatsu 930E Haul Trucks
- Plus at least one (1) additional skill from the following: Water Cart (CAT 777), Dozers, Graders, Loaders
- Current Skills List verifying machinery competencies
- Current Standard 11
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Ability to pass all site medical and pre-employment requirements
