Retail Manager

Rizins Burgers Mitcham Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of one of our fast-paced quick-service restaurant located in Mitcham, VIC, 3132.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and efficient order fulfilment.
• Determine appropriate stock levels based on sales volumes and customer demand.
• Coordinate purchasing and replenishment of food, packaging, beverages and other store supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability, orders, pricing and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock-control and stock-rotation procedures.
• Monitor sales, store expenses and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, purchases and financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control and store profitability.
• Implement pricing, promotions and marketing initiatives in accordance with business policies.
• Ensure products are appropriately presented, priced and available to customers.
• Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate store staff.
• Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties according to business requirements.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and support.
• Ensure staff comply with food safety, hygiene, customer service and workplace procedures.
• Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
• Oversee cash handling, point-of-sale operations and daily reconciliation.
• Monitor food quality, service times and store presentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and relevant food-safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised store environment.
• Prepare and review reports relating to sales, stock, staffing and overall store performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, sales and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should have:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Retail Manager, Fast Food Manager, Store Manager or similar management role.
• Experience managing a fast-food, quick-service restaurant or similar retail environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of store operations, customer service and stock management.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and coordinating staff.
• Experience with staff rostering, training and performance management.
• Experience managing stock purchasing, inventory control and supplier coordination.
• Ability to monitor sales performance and manage store costs.
• Experience using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
