We’re looking for a hands-on Irrigation Maintenance Operators to join a Northern Suburbs local council. If you know your way around irrigation systems, enjoy fault-finding and like working outdoors, this could be the role for you.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems across council-managed sites, including:
- Inspecting, testing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Fault finding and repairs to pipes, valves, sprinklers and controllers
- Programming irrigation controllers
- Minor irrigation upgrades and modifications
- Using multimeters, cable locators and other diagnostic equipment
- Working closely with Parks & Gardens crews
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What you’ll need
- Experience in irrigation maintenance, installation or repairs
- Commercial irrigation experience is a MUST
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Safety Awareness Training / White Card
- National Police Clearance
