Franna Operator

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Franna Crane Operator to join our team in Gladstone. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading company in the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors, working Monday to Friday as part of a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Safely operating Franna cranes to lift, move and position materials and equipment
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine checks of crane equipment
• Safely setting up and operating cranes in accordance with lift plans, site procedures and manufacturer requirements
• Working closely with riggers, doggers, supervisors and other site personnel to safely execute lifting activities
• Ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements
• Identifying and reporting any equipment defects, hazards or safety concerns
• Maintaining crane, tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition
• Completing relevant documentation, pre-starts and safety requirements
• Following all company, client and site safety procedures

What you’ll bring:

• Current High Risk Work Licence – CN (Non-Slewing Mobile Crane)
• Demonstrated experience operating Franna cranes in a resources, construction or industrial environment
• Previous experience working around fixed plant and heavy equipment is highly regarded
• Current White Card
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to safety
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Local to the Gladstone region
