Our client is a well-established commercial builder delivering quality projects across South East Queensland. With a focus on safety and strong project outcomes, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead site operations and drive the successful delivery of their projects.
This opportunity will suit someone who takes pride in their work, leads from the front and knows how to build strong relationships with trades, subcontractors and project teams.
The role
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate all construction activities.
- Manage subcontractors, trades and site personnel to maintain program and quality.
- Monitor construction sequencing, productivity and project milestones.
- Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and disruptions.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to achieve project objectives.
About you
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or experienced Site Foreman in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and trade coordination.
- Confident managing subcontractors and holding teams accountable.
- A hands-on approach to safety, quality and program management.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications, White Card and applicable QBCC licensing.
