E-Commerce Specialist |12-Month FTC | $100,000 + super
Join an established Australian furniture retailer as an E-Commerce Specialist, owning key digital initiatives across BigCommerce, CRO, website optimisation and online revenue. A great opportunity for a commercially minded e-commerce professional who enjoys autonomy and making a tangible impact.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day e-commerce roadmap, working across website optimisation, CRO, content updates and new digital functionality, with the opportunity to make a real impact on online revenue.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and optimising the e-commerce site across content, merchandising and customer experience
- Leading the rollout of new website features, including reviews, search and merchandising functionality
- Identifying and implementing CRO opportunities to improve conversion and online revenue
- Managing website content updates as part of an upcoming brand refresh
- Working closely with external development, SEO and performance partners
- Using data, customer behaviour and commercial insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving retail environment
- Taking ownership of the e-commerce roadmap and ensuring projects continue to move forward
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident operating independently and can take an opportunity from idea through to execution.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong hands-on e-commerce experience within retail
- Proven BigCommerce experience (essential)
- Experience across CRO, website optimisation and online merchandising
- A strong commercial mindset and understanding of how e-commerce activity translates to revenue
- The ability to work autonomously and to take initiative
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with agencies, developers and other external partners
- Furniture, homewares or broader omnichannel retail experience would be highly regarded
