Mechanical Fitter – Workshop & Site Based

Location: Brisbane
Pay Rate: $55 per hour + overtime & travel.
Employment Type: Ongoing, long-term casual

About the Role:
We are seeking skilled mechanical fitters for both workshop and on-site work in the Brisbane area. This is an ongoing casual role with long-term opportunities, offering competitive pay and 12 hour days & weekends. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Work safely on-site and in the workshop, following all safety procedures.
• Read drawings, plans, and technical manuals to complete tasks accurately.
• Pumps gearboxes & machinery overhaul.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience.
• Experience in both workshop and site-based roles.
• Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards.
