BVMX Transport Pty Ltd is a fast-growing logistics and transport company based in Sydney, providing high-quality delivery and relocation services to major clients. We are expanding our operations and are seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee and optimise our growing fleet.
The Role
As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of our vehicle fleet. You will ensure that all vehicles are maintained, compliant, and efficiently utilised to meet client and business needs. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and manage the company’s fleet operations across Sydney and NSW
- Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules and compliance with safety regulations
- Negotiate and manage supplier relationships (service providers, fuel, insurance, leasing)
- Oversee registration, inspections, permits and licensing for all vehicles
- Implement cost-control measures and fleet-tracking systems to improve efficiency
- Lead and supervise drivers and support staff to ensure high service standards
- Prepare regular fleet performance reports for management
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in fleet management or transport operations
- Strong knowledge of road safety, compliance and regulatory requirements in Australia
- Excellent organisational, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team and coordinate multiple priorities
- Good computer skills (fleet management or logistics software experience desirable)
- Current driver’s licence (MR/HR licence advantageous)
Salary & Hours
- Salary: $85.000 per annum + superannuation
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday; occasional overtime as required)
