ABOUT THE ROLE:

* Location: Roles located in Hobart, Tasmania
* Roles available: Security Officer, Casual Opportunities available
* Plenty of sites available
* Full availability preferred
* Roles require a working with vulnerability license
* 10-12 hour shifts available
* Level 1-2

Wilson Security is expanding in TASMANIA securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of state. This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)
* Excellent customer service skills
* General security duties, external and internal locks ups and MORE!
* Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may arise
* Have an understanding of communication lines and chain of command
* Have an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systems
* Protect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructure
* Submit electronic or paper incident and hazard reports
* Be well presented and well-spoken
* Have good IT skills

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

* Current Tasmanian Security Licence and First Aid Certificate
* Flexibility to work 24/7 rotating rosters
* WWVP Check

* Current National Police Clearance (under 6 months)
* Experience in a healthcare environment (highly desirable)
* Good level of physical fitness* Ability to work in high-pressure environments* Good conflict resolution skills
* Well-presented and spoken
* Great communication skills
