Human Resources Officer

- Support end-to-end recruitment and employee relations activities.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with workplace legislation.
Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer.
We’re looking for someone who is innovative, smart and reliable with a passion for people.
You should possess the ability to produce quality outcomes in a timely manner.
Whilst being surrounded by a supportive team and a great manager, you will be able to work effectively and deliver positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in day-to-day tasks and Employee Relations issues
- Support end to end recruitment activities
- Support compliance and procedural auditors
- Support line management with performance and attendance management advice
- Participate in projects – we are close to launching our new HRIS Dayforce
- Conduct effective workplace disciplinary investigations
- Maintain employee’s electronic records and data base within Dayforce
- Compile reports and data for management
- Ensure HR Records are accurate – and update in timely manner
- Ensure confidentiality at all times
What skill are we looking for?
- Good computer skills in the Microsoft Suite and HRIS systems – preferably Dayforce
- Good communication and phone skills
- Good organisational skills – It’s a busy department
- High level of confidentiality
What experience are we looking for?
Ideally, candidates with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:
- 3-5 years previous experience in Human Resources.
- Qualifications in HR/IR or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Industrial Relations principles and workplace legislation.
- Knowledge of visa and labour hire agreements.
- Ideally have previous experience in manufacturing or agriculture industry.
