Your new role
You will manage a portfolio of motor injury claims, focusing on understanding the long-term impact of injuries and working towards fair settlement outcomes. Day-to-day includes:
- Manage a portfolio of CTP Law claims from allocation through to resolution
- Review medical evidence, legal documentation and financial information to assess claim entitlements
- Liaise with claimants, solicitors, rehabilitation providers, medical practitioners and other stakeholders
- Develop claim strategies and identify pathways toward settlement
- Assess the impact of injuries, future treatment needs and potential financial loss
- Negotiate outcomes and facilitate timely claim progression
- Maintain accurate claim records while ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with experienced team members while building technical capability and legislative knowledge
What you'll need to succeed
- Early-career legal professional / recent law graduate / currently studying a law degree, or experience within:
- CTP Claims
- Workers Compensation
- Personal Injury Claims
- Allied Health
- Dispute Resolution
- Insurance Claims
- Genuine interest in personal injury, insurance, common law or dispute resolution
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyse information and make sound decisions
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building capability
- A long-term interest in developing a career within the insurance industry
- Australian working rights without sponsorship requirements
