What does the job look like? 

Linfox is currently seeking dedicated MC truck drivers with B-double experience for our local positions based in East Arm NT. As part of these roles, you will be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday starting at approx. 5am delivering freight locally. Occasionally you will also be required to run produce freight down to Katherine and back based on volumes. Key areas:

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Fatigue management in line with BFM guidelines
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

Are you the one?

• Current MC Licence and experience essential
• B double experience essential
• Ability to manage fatigue
• Knowledge of major NT roads and highways along with local Darwin area
• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
