The ideal candidate is CA or CPA qualified, or working towards this, with proven communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills demonstrated in prior experience. Our client continues to undertake a wide range of fulfilling work, advising private corporations and high-net-worth individuals on the long-term growth and success of their businesses and private capital.

As a Senior Accountant – Corporate Advisory, you will play a critical role in maintaining and consistently delivering high-quality service to the firm’s numerous clients, supporting its growth as one of the country’s most rapidly expanding Chartered Accounting firms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for a wide range of entities, including individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSFs.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports for Australian-regulated trust structures.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement tailored tax-planning strategies to support optimal financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with your team leader to coordinate all stages of client engagements, supporting managers and partners across advisory, structuring, wealth management, and asset-protection assignments.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to junior team members, helping build a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior team members.
  • 3–5 years’ experience working in Australian public practice.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce, with CA or CPA qualification completed or in progress.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments such as interest rate swaps and derivative swaps.
  • Experience with large and complex business structures, handling diverse client engagements.
  • Solid knowledge of key tax areas, including Division 7A, GST, FBT, and SMSFs.
