Mobile Automation & Performance Test Analyst - contract

WA Gov is seeking an experienced Mobile Automation and Performance Test Analyst with demonstrated expertise in test automation, performance testing. This contract will start ASAP until mid May 2027, with 6 month extension option.

The resource engaged to deliver the Services must possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of JMeter, being DGov's preferred tool for performance and load testing.
• Extensive experience in the automation of testing for mobile applications, including Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong expertise in web application test automation, with experience using Playwright highly desirable.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, and reporting on performance, load, stress, and scalability testing for mobile applications, web applications, and backend services.
• Demonstrated capability to design, develop, maintain, and optimise automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and report performance bottlenecks, system constraints, and application stability issues.
• Experience in producing and maintaining comprehensive testing artefacts, including:
• Test plans
• Test cases and scripts
• Test data and test datasets
• Defect management records and test reporting documentation
• Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate, and complete documentation to support knowledge transfer, operational continuity, governance requirements, and auditability.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business, development, and technical teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
