Role Overview

This opportunity sits within a well-established infrastructure and engineering environment, supporting complex, project-based operations across multiple workstreams. The role is Brisbane-based and offers a modern office setting with a collaborative, delivery-focused finance team.

The business has a strong forward pipeline and a reputation for disciplined financial management. This is a hands-on Accounts Payable position suited to someone who enjoys ownership, accuracy and working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end accounts payable processing across project and corporate cost centres

  • High-volume invoice processing with accurate coding and timely approvals

  • Supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs

  • Managing subcontractor and vendor queries professionally and efficiently

  • Supporting month-end close activities related to accounts payable

  • Maintaining compliance with internal controls and approval frameworks

  • Working closely with project teams, procurement and commercial functions

About You

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Officer or similar finance role

  • Background in construction, infrastructure, engineering or project-based environments preferred

  • Strong understanding of high-volume AP processes and controls

  • Confident working with ERP systems and finance software

  • Detail-oriented, organised and reliable in meeting deadlines

  • Comfortable working as part of a close-knit, high-performing finance team
