Job description

The Role:
This leading national organisation operates within the Facilities Management sector and the Technical Facility Manager will oversee technical services delivery for a financial institution.

Managing one direct report and multiple maintenance contractors to deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance for a high profile corporate client.

Full time permanent position, office based Monday to Friday, 8.30-5pm.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage maintenance of CRAC units, UPS, HVAC, Chillers, Fire and alarm systems, power, fire, BMS etc.
  • Address incidents and maintain uptime
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality service delivery
  • Liaise with soft services and property teams
  • Manage contracts, vendors and consultants to deliver works
  • Manage work orders
  • Ensure compliance with governance, protocols, documentation and CMMS
  • Report regularly to management and client
  • Participate in audits and inspections
  • Liaise with facilities vendors, client and Base Building Management

 The Successful Criteria:

  • 5+ years experience managing technical maintenance services
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Construction etc or relevant Trade essential
  • Must have corporate office experience - essential
  • Experience in Financial or Banking environment is highly advantageous
  • High level attention to detail, reporting skills and process orientated preferred
  • The ability to work autonomously and be hands-on when required 
  • Strong presentation and customer relationship management skills
  • Be comfortable to undertake background checks including police check, credit check + ID check
  • Provide after hours support and on call requirements on a 2 week on/off roster
