Boveda Thirroul is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our growing team in Thirroul, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menu requirements
- Planning menus in consultation with management
- Monitoring food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality standards
- Supervising kitchen operations during service periods
- Managing food inventory and ordering supplies when required
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations
- Training and supporting kitchen staff
- Minimising food wastage and maintaining efficient kitchen operations
Essential Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef
- Relevant culinary qualifications will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
