About the role
On a 14/7 DS NS Roster up at our Iron Bridge Project, in this role as our next Field Serviceperson, you will:
- Carry out shift servicing, and scheduled servicing of diggers, drills and track dozers in a safe, efficient and timely manner
- Assist trades people in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and associated components as directed.
- Maintaining field lube truck for service tasks and ensure lubricant sampling is carried out in accordance with Thiess Environmental and Safety Management Systems
- Organising service kits for planned tasks
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of machinery / equipment non-conformance, identify and record any machinery / equipment quality problems.
- Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and Thiess Quality Controlled (QA) service documentation
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
About you
- Experience in servicing and large track mobile plant mining equipment
- Experience in operation on highway service truck
- Current HR drivers licence preferred
- You will also need to possess a high regard for and practice health and safety at all times
