HSEQ Manager | Sunshine Coast, QLD Experienced HSEQ Advisor ready to take the next step into management?
We're recruiting on behalf of an established Sunshine Coast-based civil contracting business delivering projects across South East Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSEQ professional to take ownership of the company's health, safety, environmental and quality functions, working closely with management and site teams.
With established systems and procedures already in place, the focus will be on maintaining compliance, supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvement across the business.
The Role
- Manage and continually improve existing HSEQ management systems, policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Oversee quality assurance, environmental compliance and WHS requirements.
- Provide practical guidance and support to supervisors, foremen and construction teams.
- Maintain compliance documentation, reporting and relevant ISO standards.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' HSEQ experience, ideally within civil construction.
- Certificate IV in WHS or higher.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Lead Auditor training or relevant auditing experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
