Microbiology Assistant

           About the company/role:

• Well-established TGA governed radiopharmaceutical company based in Bundoora
• Seeking a Microbiologist Assistant – full time position (8am – 4 pm)
• 12-month fixed term contract with possibility of extension.

Duties:

• Environmental monitoring
• Aseptic microbiological testing
• Conduct Sterility testing
• Perform bioburden assessments
• Perform endotoxin testing
• Data entry
• General laboratory house keeping

About you:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology or closely related field
• Desired but not necessary, understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven time management skills for planning and schedule of work
• You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, be adaptable and have the ability to work in a close-knit team.
