Legal Counsel – Property

Junior Property Lawyer sought for CBD based development company.

Reporting to the General Counsel, in this role you will be involved in a broad range of property law matters for this growing property development company.

You will be responsible for providing high quality legal advice and support across a variety of property related matters including leasing, property sales, and development. This includes drafting and advising on Agreements for Lease, leases, Heads of Agreement, variations, renewals, licences, and contracts for the sale of property.

About You

You will hold a current Practising Certificate and have 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience in a property team within a law firm, or from in-house.

You are a self-starter who is resourceful and have a collaborative, team-oriented approach. You have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the highest level of personal integrity. You are also able to exercise discretion and judgement and have a proactive and positive attitude to deliver high quality services.

This is a terrific opportunity for private practice lawyers looking for their first in-house role, or those already in-house keen for a change.
