Reporting to the Registered Mine Surveyor, you'll play a critical role in providing accurate survey control, managing mine data and supporting operational success across the site.

What You'll Do

You'll be at the heart of our underground operations, where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting underground survey pickups, mark-ups and routine survey activities.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate mine plans that support operational and statutory requirements.
  • Delivering survey data and design files for machine guidance systems and mine planning.
  • Managing and maintaining survey data in line with legislative and site requirements.
  • Calibrating and maintaining survey equipment and software.
  • Working closely with our Technical Services team to support production and development activities.


About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about precision, technology and continuous improvement.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in underground coal mine surveying.
  • A tertiary qualification in Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and modern surveying software.
  • Proficiency using Trimble survey equipment, GPS and total stations.
  • A desire to continue developing your career, with support to work towards Registered Mine Surveyor status being highly regarded.
