About the Company
A great opportunity is available for an experienced Assistant Manager or Store Manager to join a well-established fashion retailer within a major department store environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys customer service, fashion and visual merchandising, and likes having ownership of their space.
About the Role
As the Assistant Manager, you'll oversee three concession areas across the store, representing multiple well-known fashion brands.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading from the front and delivering a high level of customer service
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the business
- Working across three concession areas and maintaining strong brand presentation
- Taking ownership of visual merchandising and ensuring each space is presented to a high standard
- Coaching and supporting team members
- Building strong relationships with customers and the wider Myer team
- Managing day-to-day operations with minimal stock handling
- Ensuring each brand has a strong presence within the store
About You
We're looking for a confident retail leader who enjoys being on the shop floor and leading by example.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous Assistant Manager, Supervisor or strong 2IC experience
- A strong customer service focus and consultative selling approach
- Experience in fashion or a similar customer-focused retail environment
- An interest in visual merchandising and store presentation
- Confidence working across multiple brands and retail spaces
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously
- The flexibility to work a Sunday to Thursday roster, including late-night trade
