As a CyberArk Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting CyberArk solutions across complex enterprise environments.
This is a potential 7-month contract opportunity for a CyberArk Engineer to join one of The Missing Link's clients within the government and education industry.
Working closely with customers, technical teams, architects, and cybersecurity specialists, you will be responsible for delivering secure privileged access management solutions that align with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale cybersecurity engagements while developing your expertise within one of Australia's leading government and education organisations.

As we continue to grow our Cyber Security Practice, we are seeking an experienced CyberArk Engineer to join our team and support enterprise customers in strengthening their Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and support CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions.
- Deploy and manage CyberArk components including PAS, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA and related modules.
- Perform platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and optimisation activities.
- Onboard privileged accounts, applications, servers, databases, and network devices into CyberArk.
- Develop secure privileged access processes and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to define PAM requirements and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex CyberArk platform issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions and security improvement initiatives.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
- Support project delivery and transition-to-operational activities.
Requirements
About You
You are a technically strong cybersecurity professional with proven experience delivering CyberArk solutions in enterprise environments. You are customer-focused, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
You possess strong problem-solving abilities and enjoy helping organisations strengthen their security posture through effective privileged access management practices.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting CyberArk solutions.
- Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management principles and best practices.
- Experience with CyberArk PAS, PVWA, CPM, PSM, and related technologies.
- Experience onboarding privileged accounts, applications, and infrastructure into CyberArk.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Experience working within enterprise security environments.
- Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and security issues.
Desirable
- CyberArk Defender, Sentry, or Guardian certifications.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies.
- Experience integrating CyberArk with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD integrations.
- Familiarity with scripting technologies including PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, Essential Eight, NIST, or CIS Controls.
