An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced, motivated Duty Manager to join a popular, well-established hospitality venue just minutes from Adelaide's CBD.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere, quality food and beverage offering, and strong local following, this venue seeks a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy hospitality environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager or ambitious Supervisor looking to develop their career within a supportive hospitality group.
About the Role
Working closely with the senior management team, you will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily food and beverage operations and ensuring smooth service
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of hospitality professionals
- Managing opening and closing procedures, cash handling and shift reporting
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Supporting stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, gaming regulations and workplace health and safety requirements
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting senior management with the ongoing success of the venue
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or experienced Hospitality Supervisor
- A strong background in pubs, hotels or high-volume hospitality venues
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management approach
- Confidence managing busy shifts and making operational decisions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Current RSA and relevant gaming qualifications where required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
