Forklift Operator / Warehouse Storeperson

S1HR is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Storeperson to join our client's busy produce distribution operation based in Rocklea.

What's on offer

• $38.45 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 4:00am-12:30pm
• Ongoing opportunity
• Early afternoon finish
• Busy, fast-paced warehouse environment

Your duties will include

• Unloading, receiving, storing, rotating, packing and dispatching produce
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Picking and putting away pallets in temperature-controlled fridges
• Receiving stock, data entry and printing labels
• Stacking and labelling fruit trays
• Manual handling of 5-10kg
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping
• Following safe work practices
• Learning additional tasks including fruit ripening processes, with the opportunity to work in the ripening room in the futureses, with the opportunity to work in the ripening room in the future

What we're looking for

• Current Forklift Licence
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
• Warehouse, stores or distribution experience
• Comfortable working in different temperature-controlled environments
• Confident with basic computer and data entry tasks
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and safety focused
• Able to reliably start at 4:00am Monday to Friday
• Own reliable transport due to the early start
