An established and highly regarded electronic security integrator is continuing to grow its Melbourne operation and is looking for experienced Security Service Technicians to join the team.
With more than 40 years in the industry and multiple industry awards, the business delivers sophisticated security solutions to some of Australia's largest organisations. Its client base spans healthcare, education, logistics, grocery, major facilities and shopping centres, providing technicians with exposure to a broad range of commercial environments.
This position is focused on high-level servicing, diagnostics and fault finding across enterprise security systems. It's suited to technicians who enjoy working through technical issues and solving problems, rather than simply completing routine maintenance.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for attending commercial sites to service, diagnose and troubleshoot electronic security systems, working across platforms such as:
- Inner Range
- Milestone
- Genetec
- CCTV, access control and alarm systems
- Integrated electronic security solutions
You'll be dealing with complex systems and larger-scale environments, requiring a solid understanding of how different security technologies operate together.
The role will involve fault finding, troubleshooting, servicing and repairs, along with installation and commissioning work where required. This provides plenty of variety for technicians who enjoy both service and project-based work.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for technicians with:
- Previous experience in an Electronic Security Technician role
- A current Victorian Security Licence
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Commercial security experience, particularly across larger sites
- Experience with Inner Range, Milestone, Genetec or similar enterprise platforms is highly desirable
- A methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving
- The ability to communicate confidently with clients and work independently
- A genuine interest in developing your technical capabilities
Experience across every system isn't essential. A strong technical foundation, good troubleshooting ability and experience working within commercial security environments are the key requirements.
