A well-established security integrator with 40+ years in the industry is expanding its Sydney team and is looking for experienced Service Technicians.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-end electronic security solutions and has won multiple awards across the security industry.
Their client portfolio includes major organisations across healthcare, education, logistics, grocery, large facilities and shopping centres.
This is a technically focused service position, working with enterprise security systems and large-scale integrated environments. The focus is on high-level servicing, fault finding and troubleshooting rather than simply carrying out routine maintenance.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing and supporting complex security environments, diagnosing faults and providing technical solutions across enterprise systems including Inner Range, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon technology.
The role involves working directly with major commercial clients, where strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are important.
This isn't a role where you're simply attending site to complete a scheduled maintenance checklist. You'll be expected to investigate faults, troubleshoot systems and understand how larger security environments operate.
There will also be installation, commissioning and project work involved, providing variety for technicians who enjoy the installation side of the industry.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Security Technician
- A current NSW Security Licence
- Strong fault finding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience working across commercial or large-scale security environments
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Inner Range, Milestone or Genetec is highly regarded
- A strong technical and problem-solving mindset
- The ability to work independently and manage client-facing service work
- Good communication and customer service skills
You don't need to be experienced across every system. The key is having solid technical fundamentals, the ability to diagnose problems and the confidence to work with complex security solutions.
