About the role As a Storeperson / Forklift Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping warehouse operations running safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a counterbalance forklift
- Receiving, checking, and putting away incoming stock
- Picking, moving, and organising warehouse materials
- Completing general warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks of up to 20 kg
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily operational targets
What we’re looking for To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar environment
- A current forklift licence
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a forklift
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Excellent attention to detail
- A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
- Machine operating experience is desirable but not essential
