Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, delivery and leadership of electrical building services projects. You will work closely with clients, project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, taking projects from concept and detailed design through to construction and practical completion.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering electrical building services designs across a diverse range of projects
Managing projects throughout the full design and construction life cycle
Conducting quality assurance reviews of electrical deliverables
Providing certification and technical sign-off documentation where required
Leading and coordinating project teams to achieve successful outcomes
Mentoring and developing graduate and junior engineers
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Preparing fee proposals and contributing to project bids and submissions
Attending site inspections, client meetings and industry events
Preparing and reviewing technical reports, documentation and engineering specifications
Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, regulations and the National Construction Code

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
Proven Building Services design experience within a consulting engineering environment
Experience delivering projects from concept design through to construction completion
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, regulations and the NCC
Experience using industry-standard engineering software and Revit
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong technical problem-solving and engineering judgement
Ability to independently manage project scope and deliverables
Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers

Highly regarded:

CPEng, NER, RPEQ and/or QBCC Designer Licence
Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
Proven business development and client relationship experience
