About The Role

An opportunity exists for a proactive and driven Processing Manager to lead the production and maintenance teams at our Cataby operation. The Cataby mining operation is located near the Town of Dandaragan, approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth.

Reporting to the Cataby Operations Manager, your responsibilities include the overall management of the processing operations to safely achieve budgeted performance and providing visible and effective leadership to achieve high standards of performance and deliver sustainable value.

This position is offered on a drive‑in drive‑out (DIDO) basis, commencing on an 8:6 roster. After 12 months, it will transition to a rotating 5:2 / 4:3 DIDO roster. Camp accommodation is available on site.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Provide strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a safe and collaborative working environment

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by ensuring all works are performed within relevant laws and regulations

• Provide Statutory Senior Site Executive coverage of the Iluka Cataby site in accordance with the Mines Safety and Inspection Act

• Build and execute a schedule that transitions the operations back into full production

• Ensure all production and maintenance requirements associated with the Cataby processing facility are met in a safe and timely manner

• Implement planned improvement projects and initiatives to deliver sustainable processing facility performance

• Manage the development of annual cost, maintenance, and production budgets for the Cataby site in conjunction with operational staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience managing processing operations within the mining or processing industries

• A proven track record of delivering sustainable operational improvements in a senior leadership role within the resources sector

• A strong commitment and proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental requirements within the mining industry

• The ability to communicate effectively and engage key stakeholders to work collaboratively

• A valid C Class Driver's Licence

• A qualification in an Engineering discipline — Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or Reliability Engineering would be highly regarded
