Sydney or Brisbane Life Insurance Claims Managers and Snr Claims Managers to manage complex IP / TPD claims

Your new role
As a Claims Manager or Senior Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of life insurance claims across Income Protection and Total Permanent Disability.
You will manage claims endtoend, focusing on benefit management, returntowork outcomes, and clear, defensible decisionmaking.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of IP and TPD claims (average 50 claims)Assessing entitlement through medical, vocational, and contractual evidence Managing ongoing benefit payments and pending claims Engaging with members, employers, and medical providers Making clear, timely, and wellreasoned claim decisions Handling more complex matters and technical queries (senior level)Contributing to consistent, highquality customer outcomes

Senior roles operate with greater autonomy and act as a technical reference point.

What you'll need to succeed
Claims Manager

At least 12 months' recent experience managing life insurance claims Exposure to Income Protection and/or TPD claims Strong understanding of benefit management and pending claims

Senior Claims Manager
At least 2 years' recent experience in IP and TPDStrong knowledge of insurance contracts and complex decisionmakingAbility to manage technical issues independentlyFor both:
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to manage workload in a performancefocused environmentGenuine interest in supporting members through complex circumstancesWhat you'll get in return
