Steel manufacturer seeking a Truck Driver to join their team in Queanbeyan

Your new company is a well-established, Australian-owned steel manufacturer with over 100 years in the industry. With multiple sites nationwide, theyre known for delivering quality products on time. The Queanbeyan team is tight-knit, hardworking, and values safety, reliability and getting the job done right. Due to ongoing demand, theyre looking for a dependable Truck Driver to jump on board.
Your new role
Youll be out on the road and hands-on, keeping things moving between the yard and customer sites. Your day-to-day will include:
- Driving the truck to various local sites to complete deliveries
- Operating a Hiab (crane truck) to load and unload steel safely on site
- Strapping, securing loads and ensuring safe transport
- Basic truck upkeep and pre-start checks
- Dealing directly with customers on site
- Working in the factory when required (picking, prepping orders, general labouring)
This is a varied role perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on work.
What you'll need to succeed
To hit the ground running, youll need:
- HC truck licence with recent driving experience
- Hiab (CV) ticket and experience or willingness to get qualified
- White Card, Asbestos Awareness & Silica Awareness
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Confidence dealing with customers on site

- $38-44 p/h casual + super & allowances
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am start with overtime available
