HVAC Project Manager
- Manage multiple HVAC projects from award through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

HVAC Project Manager is required for a growing Sydney contractor delivering commercial fit-out projects.
Your new company
Hays is working in partnership with a leading commercial asset maintenance provider supporting some of Sydneys most prominent buildings.Due to continued growth within their Construction Division, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to deliver a strong pipeline of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Your new role
You will take ownership of multiple HVAC projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full project life cycle including planning, procurement, delivery, and handover.
Coordinating internal teams across engineering, drafting, site, and commissioning
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and labour resources
Reviewing designs to identify value engineering and risk mitigation opportunities
Overseeing project financials including budgets, forecasts, variations, and cash flow
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and builders
Ensuring compliance with WHS and Australian Standards
Leading project meetings and reporting to senior management
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 5+ years experience managing HVAC or building services projectsProven delivery of commercial projects valued at $1M$5M
Strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and HVAC systems
Excellent commercial and financial management skills
Experience using systems such as Simpro, Procore, or Aconex (or similar)
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Trade or Mechanical Engineering background highly regarded
Current Australian driving licence
