 About the Program

Settlement Services International (SSI) is delivering the Home Care Workforce Support Program in NSW and ACT, aimed at building capacity in communities and delivering support services to those who need it most. The program is expecting to build the nation’s home care workforce by 13,000 over the next two years. The program is fully funded by the Australian Government and is part of the Federal Government’s response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.

SSI are working to arrange training, recruiting, and supporting new workers suited to the industry, building capacity and enhancing the skills of new home care workers. We are working in close partnership with home care providers to access talent from employment services and with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to facilitate training and education opportunities.

We are also encouraging people who have a passion for caring for others and making a difference in the community to contact us and register their interest.
