- Complete risk assessments of harm to self or others.

REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGISTS - CORRECTIONS – RISK AND MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENTS
We are currently seeking Registered Psychologists for locum positions to work in corrective services in Queensland. Initial 3-month contracts available with the opportunity to extend.
About the Role:
- Complete risk assessments of harm to self or others, including acute and chronic risk.
- Mental state assessments, and ongoing mental health assessments as required.
- Opportunity to work in in high and low security sites, and in Male and Female Prisons.
Benefits:
- $85 - $100p/h + Super depending on experience
- Fully funded travel and accommodation if required.
- Ideally full time, but part time may be considered, depending on location.
- 3-month contracts with high chance of extensions if both parties happy.
- Various Locations available
Selection Criteria
- General registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
- Forensic, clinical, counselling, or other endorsements highly regarded.
- Ability to pass enhanced security and criminal record check.
- Experience in Adult Mental health and mental state and risk assessment a must.
- Previous experience working in corrections or the forensics space desirable, but not required.
