About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and professional Security Officers to join our regional operations team in Karratha.

The successful candidate will perform security duties across commercial, industrial, government, accommodation, construction, and event environments, maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections.
• Monitor premises and identify potential security risks.
• Control site access and verify authorised entry.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm, and security systems.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Complete incident reports, shift reports, and security documentation.
• Liaise with clients, visitors, emergency services, and management.
• Enforce site procedures and safety requirements.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining security standards.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Current Western Australian Security Officer Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Valid Australian Driver Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating rosters including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in security operations, protective services, law enforcement, defence, corrections, or a closely related field.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Desirable Qualifications
• Experience in aviation, mining, industrial, government, or remote site security environments.
• RSA Certification
• Crowd Control endorsement
• CCTV Monitoring experience
• Certificate II or III in Security Operations
• Experience in regional or remote environments
• Ability to obtain site-specific security clearances.
