Your new role

Contribute to the technical implementation of new data solutions from analysis to delivery (designing and delivering data dictionary, defining the release steps, defining best practices of data modelling and review steps). Facilitate continuous improvement measures in delivery principles, coding standards, documentation and provide training sessions to team. Work with the technical teams on Amazon S3, OLTP (Online Transaction Processing), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) and iPaaS platforms to deliver project and BAU goals Prioritise work items and add them to a work queue such as a JIRA board. Understand, analyse and size user requirements. Development and maintenance of Data Lake Transformation Metadata. Optimisation and tuning of SQL code to ensure optimal performance. Development and maintenance of system documentation. Work within a state of the art, greenfield dev ops environment. Collaboration with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams.

What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years, working in a similar role delivering project and BAU goals in a fast-paced environment including exposure and experience with data lake, MySQL, Amazon S3 and iPaaS solution. Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with technical SME's to define and obtain an understanding of business needs, technical constraints, and technical concepts and present them in simple terms. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple business stakeholders and establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders. Proven experience, of at least 2 years, in a role relating to cloud platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure) including delivery of new services. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, cultivating productive working relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
