A leading Tier 2 civil contractor has secured a significant infrastructure project and is seeking an experienced Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team.This is an opportunity to play a key role in a major brownfield project involving early works, bulk earthworks, civil groundworks, utilities, foundations, pavements, and large concrete structures.
Your new role
Working alongside an experienced project team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering key project packages while ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial objectives are achieved.The project offers long-term security, strong leadership, and the chance to work on complex civil infrastructure works with a highly regarded contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site activities
- Assist in project planning, programming and delivery
- Monitor project costs, productivity and progress
- Drive quality assurance and compliance processes
- Prepare and review project documentation and reporting
- Ensure safe and efficient project execution
- Liaise with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within civil construction
- Strong background in bulk earthworks, roads, pavements, utilities, drainage, concrete or subdivision projects
- Experience working for a Tier 2 or established Tier 3 civil contractor
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced project environment
