Management/Site Accountant role within manufacturing | Full time | Permanent | $110,000+super | 5 days on-site

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team. Operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this organisation is committed to quality, innovation and continuous improvement, providing an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to partner closely with operations and make a genuine impact on business performance.

Your new role

  • Maintaining product costing accuracy, standard costs and bills of materials
  • Analysing manufacturing cost variances and monitoring product profitability
  • Preparing monthly management reports, KPI reporting and performance analysis
  • Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process
  • Partnering with operational leaders to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Participating in site performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting inventory management, financial controls and audit requirements
  • Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including supplier payments and reconciliations
  • Providing commercial insights to support decision-making and drive operational performance

What you'll need to succeed

  • CA or CPA qualification, or be actively working towards completion
  • Previous experience in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance
  • Experience within manufacturing or a broader FMCG environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
  • Strong analytical capability with a continuous improvement mindset
