Fetch Recruitment are seeking experienced HSEQ Advisors to join our client on multiple Energy / Infrastructure projects throughout Adelaide and travel to Canberra where required. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile civil contractor while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement HSEQ policies and procedures across multiple Civil infrastructure and energy projects.
- Projects based in the Northern Adelaide suburbs, as well as interstate travel to Canberra.
- Canberra – You will be expected to fly over around 2 times per month, spending at least 3-4 days per time (All expenses covered)
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves
- Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, must have experience working within the civil infrastructure space (2 years minimum)
- Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field. (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSEQ standards and legislation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
