About the opportunity

Edutemps is recruiting a Training Project Manager for a shipping and logistics business with operations across Melbourne and Tasmania.

Following a major acquisition, the business needs an experienced training professional to bring together its training requirements, prioritise gaps and get activity underway. The training needs analysis is already complete, giving you a starting point to build a clear, practical action plan.

This is a hands-on role focused on coordinating non-accredited workplace training, improving completion tracking and helping operational teams meet their requirements. You’ll work with internal experts and existing driver trainers, with some minor training delivery and content adaptation.

What you’ll do

  • Review the existing training needs analysis and turn priorities into an achievable project plan.
  • Review completion records, identify outstanding training and follow up with managers and staff.
  • Use ELMO to administer training, track progress and report on gaps.
  • Coordinate online and face-to-face training with internal experts and external providers.
  • Review licence checks and pre-employment training requirements.
  • Adapt existing materials and develop content where needed, using internal policies.
  • Work with driver trainers on technical training requirements.
  • Establish clear ownership, timelines and reporting across the project.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience coordinating workplace training or learning and development.
  • Practical ELMO experience—essential for this role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and keep work moving.
  • Confidence working through incomplete information and establishing clear processes.
  • The ability to build relationships and obtain information from busy operational stakeholders.
  • An understanding of effective training administration, records and completion tracking.
  • Logistics, transport or warehousing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
