About the Role
As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of private sector projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing cost planning, estimating and cost reporting across projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Providing commercial and strategic cost advice to clients, developers and project stakeholders.
- Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities, tender documentation, procurement advice and contract variations.
- Managing client relationships and working closely with project teams, consultants and contractors.
- Supporting the development of junior team members while contributing to the growth of the broader business.
Experience Required
- 5+ years' experience within quantity surveying, cost management or a related construction/commercial environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong experience working across private sector projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Excellent understanding of cost planning, estimating, procurement and contract administration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to provide strategic advice and identify project risks and opportunities.
