We're seeking a motivated CNC Operator to join a leading Australian manufacturer delivering high-quality aluminium window, door and faade solutions for major commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a modern manufacturing facility, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with long-term career prospects.
Your new role
Operating within a busy production environment, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components for aluminium windows and doors.
Whilst experience in the aluminium industry and knowledge of emmegi or elumatec is highly regarded, we are also interested in speaking with CNC Operators from timber, steel, cabinetry, joinery or other manufacturing backgrounds.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery
- Read and interpret production drawings
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Make machine adjustments as required
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Work closely with the fabrication and production teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous CNC operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience with aluminium windows and doors is highly desirable
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience advantageous
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team
